Since 2008, there has been this veil of mystery around cloud. With mystery came doubt and assumptions. The reality is cloud is nothing more than compute, storage, and network in someone else’s data center. Too often when new terms or buzzwords are thrown about, there is a race of early adopters who grab on to the vision, or attempt to deploy the strategy, while the rest of us sit back to watch and learn. Cloud is one of those terms, ideas, concepts, solutions.
