Nageswaran Vaidyanathan, EVP, Chief Technology Officer, OneMain Financial

  • Senior IT leader playing in the intersection of people, ways of working, infrastructure and information technology transformation.
  • Currently accountable for all application delivery and operations, Digital transformation, infrastructure, IT security and data at OneMain Financial as part of the Executive team.
  • Was accountable for Digital Customer Experience across Customer segments including Mobile Bank, web and tablet banking, Mobile Payments, Cards processing – physical and virtual, security for the digital applications. I am also accountable for driving Analytics for customer / fraud and Risk / Credit for the bank
  • Was accountable for personal banking IT development and operations as CIO for Personal Banking IT at Danske Bank.
  • Earlier I was accountable for the engineering for Allstate’s Connected platform building products and features as well as enabling mobility across insurance and non-insurance and looking for opportunities for monetization
  • Was accountable to complete the implementation of a policy admin system for all P&C lines across business units and retire the legacy policy admin system. The policy admin system completed catered to exclusive and independent agents, contact centers, risk management, back office and the web
  • Was accountable for day-day operations oversight, design and strategic initiatives for the Claims technology organization that not only supports Claims business but also across business organizations as new products are launched in Product and Sales/Marketing.
  • I serve as a teacher / mentor for multiple employees within and outside the company as they look to grow professionally – mentor as part of the Organization of Chinese Americans, the Menttium Corporation, speaking on leadership at CampIT as well as teaching emerging professionals.
  • Won the Chairman’s award three years in a row 2010-2012

Mark Etwaru, Digital & Transformation Expert

Mark Etwaru is a thought leader and a champion for global innovation who has navigated some of the world’s largest organizations through areas of business strategy, organizational design, operational effectiveness, cost reduction, change management, risk management and margin improvement.

 

He has been at the forefront of some of the most critical capabilities such as Transformation, Cloud, Social, Digital, DevOps, AI and more recently Blockchain. Mark thrives on tackling complex, high-risk, and seemingly impossible initiatives. He excels at leading long-term strategic projects driving organizational change and transformation.

 

In addition to Mark’s day job he currently serves on the boards of multiple not-for-profit organizations, is an adviser to multiple incubators, and sits on multiple start-up advisory boards.

 

Academically, Mark is a lifetime student, he holds B.S. in Information Systems Management, a Master’s in Technology Management, is PMP certified and currently enrolled at Harvard, pursing a Masters in Psychology.

Prior to his current appointment, Brian held Chief Revenue Officer and Executive Vice President of Sales roles with industry-leading global companies like Cognizant Technologies (Ranked #1 by Forbes, during his tenure), Sierra Atlantic, Highpoint Solutions and Symbio.

 

Most recently, Brian was the Founder and Managing Partner of LeverageHub, which focused on helping companies increase their new business development contracts and revenues with partners and alliances.
