Chris Smith

Director, Analytics & Cloud, Weidenhammer

Chris Smith, Director of Business Intelligence and Cloud Solutions, possesses over twenty years of progressive experience in Software Solution Architecture, Project Planning and Management, and Business Intelligence & Data Insights. In addition to leading a Weidenhammer practice, he has served as the Lead Architect on several enterprise Microsoft Stack solution delivery efforts. His project experience includes Microsoft 365, Azure App Service deployments, Azure SQL Database, SharePoint Online, Online Banking and E-Commerce. Chris holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Temple University, and received the Eagle Scout Award from the Boy Scouts of America.

As an Architect by trade, with significant cloud solutions experience, Chris often serves as a Technical Lead or Engagement Manager in projects focused on Enterprise Application Modernization and Business Process Improvement.

In our Cloud Solutions practice, Chris has strong experience working with mostly all aspects of the M365 ecosystem, including tools and platforms such as the Microsoft Dataverse, Power BI, PowerApps, Automate, and SharePoint, as well as Azure development and implementation. As a Microsoft Gold Partner, we are determined to stay on the cutting edge of the Microsoft Azure and M365 suite of services and technologies, and provide consulting expertise around how all of these tools can work together in an integrated fashion to deliver exceptional business user experiences.

Specific to Business Intelligence, he has performed numerous Data Warehouse and BI Implementations including planning, architectural requirements gathering and detailed design. He has worked with a range of reporting / BI technologies, tools and platforms including SQL Server, Power BI, QlikView, Qlik Sense, Tableau, and Salesforce Wave / Einstein Analytics. Chris also has experience creating robust dashboards, data visualizations, and complex ETL / ELT solutions for data integration and normalization.
